Joseph Lee's Obituary

Joseph Lee Dillon, Sr., 72, of Bassett, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at in the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  He was born on May 13, 1948 to the late Moyer Dillon and the late Betty Turner Dillon.  He was also preceded in death by a son, Daniel J. Musselman and a sister, Joan Stacy.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Mary G. Musselman; sons, Joseph L Dillon, Jr. (Jane) of Collinsville, Robert Dillon (Pam) of Summerfield, NC, David J. Musselman, Jr. (Barbara) of Bassett and Jody Musselman (Carrie) of Patrick Springs; daughter, Mary L. Dillon of Burlington, NC; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Gene Dillon (Debbie) of Bassett; brother-in-law, Quinton Stacy; aunt, Gaynell Naff (Freddie); several nieces, nephews and friends.

Due to the governor’s requirements for Covid-19, a face covering is required and social distancing is to be observed while visiting at the funeral home.
