Joseph Wayne Lewis II, 31, of Lumberton, NC, was called Home by God on Saturday, February 19, 2022. He was born in Cumberland County, NC on July 30, 1990 to Mrs. Robbie Barbour and Mr. Joseph Lewis.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. Billy Ray & Mrs. Margaret Lewis.
He is survived by his grandparents, Jim & Betty Bullard of Lumberton, NC and Mary & Robert Barbour of New Bern, NC; his daughter, Carmen Lewis of Lumberton, NC; his wife, Vivian Lawson of the home; his daughter, Isabella Lawson, and his son, Brantley Lewis, both of the home; his mother, Robbie Barbour ("Momma") and her husband, Robby ("Pops"), both of New Bern, NC; his father, Joseph Lewis, and his Ma, Amanda, both of Lumberton, NC; his brother, Billy Lewis and wife Lakin of Parkton, NC; his sister, Heather Lewis of Charlotte, NC; his nieces, Kayleigh and Alaina, both of Parkton, NC; his nephews: Kylan and Kade, both of Parkton, NC, and Tra Jackson of Hope Mills, NC; and his lifelong friends, Michael Paul Bruce and Steven Tuthill.
The family will be receiving friends at the home, 1404 Eisenhower Street in Lumberton, NC.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday, February 28, 2022, from 12:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tony Stevens. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
