Not sure what to say?

Mary Jo and Sarah, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember your dad being such a nice man when I would be at your house in our younger years. I also remember his plaid shirts! Your mom was waiting for your dad as he drew his last breath into eternity with her.

I have great childhood memories of riding with Mary Jo and Edith to see Joe at the “plant” and also of all the times at the beach. All of you should find much comfort in the wonderful care you provided him. Much love to you all

What a great remembrance of an interesting life! Joe was a sweetheart of a man and will always be a part of the story of old Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach. Our condolences to the family

I'm so glad I got a chance to speak with Joe at the Rivenbark Family Reunion a few years back at Long Leaf Park. We shared fun memories of my father, "Big Kenny" Sneeden, who I remember always spoke fondly of his long friendship with his good buddy Joe Morrison. And it was great to see Joe was still sharp and full of humor as he was closing in on a century of life. Much love to you, Mary Jo, and your brother, Jimmy, from the Sneeden/Vaught family as you grieve this loss of your Dad. We will...

Sarah and Mattox, our sincere condolence for your loss. We are sure your Grandpa and Great Grandpa is at rest and is in a better place by his wife’s side now. Surely you will him but you both will be fine. Take care. Carlos and Nita

Mary Jo, Rusty, Jimmy, Sarah, and Mattox, you have so many wonderful memories of Joe to help you at this sad time, he was always so nice to all of us cousins, I remember all the fun times we had at the beach house. All of you took such wonderful care of Joe , and he loved you all so much! Love to all of you!
