Joe was a great guy and will be missed by many. Condolences are sent to all who knew him. May he be happily reunited with his loved ones who passed before him.

I thank you Joe for being my friend & tailor.. May the good Lord give you a peaceful eternal rest...I will miss you.Thanks for all you did for me.Even when your body didn't feel so good. Leisure Park will miss you and so would I.. you ...May your family be comforted at this time. Joe was a good man and good friend. He will be missed! Rest in peace.

Frederick A. Mackenzie Post 165, American Legion , officers and members, salute our Past Commander of Post 165, he was a great Commander . A donation will be sent to the Disabled American Veterans per his request. May he rest peacefully with his brothers in Hallowed Fields.

Joe had a kind, generous, and confident spirit. I always enjoyed being in his company. What a great smile too! My condolences to his entire family.

Joseph's Obituary

Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road, Brick, NJ 08723PASTUZYN, Joseph age 93, died Wednesday October 31,2018 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick NJ.

Born October 9, 1925 in Bayonne, NJ, he was the son of the late Panko and Fannie [Mankiw] Pastuzyn.

He was predeceased by wives Irene and Ann, son Thomas, daughter Rene, and siblings John, Anna Collins, Mary, William, Michael, Solie, and Sophie Petrus.

Surviving are: daughter Jane and her husband Daniel Lenz of Addison, TX, daughter Karen and her husband David Hollabaugh of Middletown, NJ, son Joseph J. and his wife Grace Daines of Midland, MI, and grandchildren Jonathan Lenz, Elissa, Adam, and Nathan Pastuzyn, Lynn Vanadio, and Billy Outwater.

Joseph served in the US Navy, and was an honorably discharged veteran of World War II.

Joseph was a past president of the American Legion Post 165 in Bayonne, NJ.

Visitation will be at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road, Brick, NJ 08723 on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 1-3pm & 7-9pm. In honoring Joe's request to be buried with two of his brothers, interment will be at Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Wrightstown, New Jersey 08562 on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, 2:30pm in the chapel.
