Age 95, of Shaler Township, on Monday, July 21, 2025. Beloved husband of 61 years of the late Catherine M. (Zick) Pawlak; loving father of Joseph (Linda) Pawlak, David (Lori) Pawlak, Judy (Glenn) Bippus, Carol (Dom) Merigliano and the late Mark Pawlak; devoted grandfather of Mark (Kerri) Pawlak, Staci Pawlak, Derek Bippus, Marisa Bippus, Emily (Andrew) Simmons and Ryan (fiancee Allison) Bippus, Catherine Merigliano and Maria Merigliano; brother of the late Mary Ann Guszczynski, Catherine Pawlak and Harry Pawlak; also survived by nieces and nephews.
Joe proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from OK Grocery/Giant Eagle as a warehouseman. Joe was a volunteer at Spark of Hope. He enjoyed playing senior softball and won a gold medal at the Senior Olympics.
Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME,216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Monday, July 28, 2025 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, St. Sebastian Church on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 1:30 p.m.
