I knew from an early age my Uncle Joe was someone very special by the twinkle in my mom's eye at the mention of his name. "Joey". Many times I've given credit to my Uncle Joe for stepping up when I had no father, teaching me how to fly a kite, etc. That's not all I learned from this man. Of course I caught my first fish with my Uncle Joe. You pry did too. Uncle Joe taught outdoor conservatorship to countless family and friends over the years. I believe when we pass on what we learned from...

I always held the upmost respect for Joe as a devoted husband, a devoted father, and a devoted christian. He was a great father-in-law, and I'll miss his humor.

Nothing like family, and that is what my father-in-law was all about.
