He was my father in law for 51 years. A good guy and we got along well. He was a Yankee fan and I a Red Sox fan. He was old school and I respected that. Loved his family deeply. He will be missed. Rest in peace Pip!

Joseph Tralongo, 96, of Rocky Hill, CT, passed away on 2/25/2026 at his home. Born on 2/6/1930 in Hartford, CT on Front Street. He was the son of Salvatore and Lucia Tralongo. He was known for spending many days at Hammonasett Beach, as a champion ping pong player, and a devoted New York Yankees fan. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force. He was a plumber by trade working for the Joseph Abbate Co. as well as serving as a plumbing inspector for the City of Hartford. He is survived by his five children - Lucy (John) DiNardi, Rosalie (Warren) McKenney, Salvatore (Mimi) Tralongo, John (Lynne) Tralongo and Maria Tralongo. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Vincenza Tralongo, his parents and his siblings Sebastian Tralongo, Connie Palumbo, and Rose Mansella. At his request, services are private.
