Not sure what to say?

Such a big loss for the family. Joe was always such a good person and always treated everyone with great love and respect. Shared many good times at the ball fields and the skating rink.

Praying for Joe’s family and friends! Praying that God will give you all strength, comfort and peace!

I pray for God's comfort and peace for all who knew and loved Joe.

Joe will surely be missed at LV Motor Speedway. He was a great guy who was big in the Jackson Winkeler race and always had kind words and chicken bog for everybody.

Joseph Wayne Walters

Joseph Wayne Walters, 57, of Dillon, South Carolina, passed away following an illness, while at Grand Strand Medical Center of Myrtle Beach, during the early hours of Friday, August 8, 2025.

“Joe” as most everyone knew him, was born on November 4, 1967, in Mullins, South Carolina, a son of the late L.C. Walters and the late Bonnie Rowell Walters. Joe loved racing, whether it was on television, at the track in person, or doing a little bit himself, he was all for the thrill of it. Joe had an affinity for roller skating, he enjoyed lacing up his skates and hitting the rink whenever he got a chance. Joe was a huge University of South Carolina fan, always pulling for his Gamecocks through good times and bad times as many Gamecock fans do throughout the state.
