Josephine Jackson Tew, age 86, of Lumberton, NC, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025. She was born on January 14, 1939 to Zanie Jackson and Addie Lou Jackson in Robeson County, NC.
Josephine was preceded in death by her husband Danny Allen "Buck" Tew.
She is survived by her three sons, Danny Tew (Cindy) of St. Pauls, Donald Tew (Mary) of Lumberton and Berry Allen Tew of Tobemory, NC; three sisters, Evelyn Blackwell of Abderean, NC, Helen Grimsley of Tobemory, NC and Bonnie Dawson of Parkton, NC and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Great Marsh Baptist Church Cemetery, 270 E. Great Marsh Church Rd. A time of visitation will take place at the cemetery following the service.
