Joya Theresas Jerome, age 41 was born on March 18, 1984 in New Orleans, LA, departed this life on Monday, October 6, 2025. Joya was the loving daughter of Willie Jerome Jr. and Catherine Jerome. Beloved mother of Ja'Corie Casborn. Sister of Ju'Von Arana, Sepia Jerome, Kista Jerome, Willie Jerome III, and Alicia Jerome. Grandmother of Ja’Corie and Dior. She was also survived by and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Celebration Service on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home, 2120 Jackson Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70113 at 12:30 p.m. Family hour from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Private Burial.
