Joyce Faye Carman, age 85, Kensington, passed away at Copley Health Center on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Joyce was born in Minerva, Ohio on December 18, 1939, to Herbert J and Henrietta (Curtis) Alexander.Joyce worked as an office manager at Guess Manufacturing for 11 years.
Joyce and Homer had a combined family of 6 children; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. To cherish her memories are a daughter, Stephanie Allison of Kensington; a granddaughter, Shannon Mathers of Bedford NH; a great-granddaughter, Jovie Mathers; a brother, John (Patricia) Alexander of Minerva; and a sister, Lyda Alexander of East Canton.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Carman; a brother, Richard Alexander, a sister, Barbara Baker; and a stepdaughter, Mindy K (Carman) Straight.
Per her wishes, there will be no services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
