Not sure what to say?

On behalf of Hudson River Patriots Chapter of Daughters of American Revolution (NY) which Joyce joined back in 1971, we send condolences to the family. May Joyce RIP.

Joyce has been a wonderful friend and excellent pen pal. I enjoyed keeping up with her after she and Dick moved to Arizona. Her warmth and smile will remain with me forever. My heart is with Dick now.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. Our deepest sympathies to her family. May her memory be eternal.

My sympathy to Barb and her family. May you find peace and comfort knowing your mother is at rest. No more pain and illness. Her spirit will live on and may your memories of her bring you joy.

Deepest condolences to Barb and family. Hoping the love surrounding you offers some comfort.

Love to you, the Galutia family. Mrs. G. was a treasured part of my childhood. I especially remember her making us special cake mixes for Barb's easy bake oven! She was devoted to her family. And she welcomed me in to that family more times than I can count. I'm so grateful to have had her in my life.

Sendings my condolences. My heart aches for this grieving family.

Wow. A wonderful life. I wish I could have known her as an adult. You were blessed with a wonderful mom. Childhood memories are sparse but I understand the pain of losing a parent. But lucky to have good ones
Sincerely, Hannah Pennewell ,
Poole

I miss you so much! I will always make you proud. I am the luckiest to have had you as my mom, friend and ally. Love you and we will see each other again! I promised to take care of Dad and always honor you and the promises I made to you!

Joyce Leeds Galutia, 91, of Sun Lakes, AZ, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2018. Joyce was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was strong, thoughtful, and supportive to everyone she touched throughout the years. She inspired many during her life by her generosity and unyielding support of her family and charities. She is survived by her loving husband Dr. Paul R. (Dick) Galutia, 96 years of age, sons David L. (wife Diane), Richard R. (wife Lisa) and Barbara G. Joyce was the second of three children of Alvah Hobart and Frances Russell Leeds and was raised in Yonkers, NY. Joyce met the love of her life while at Keuka College. She was married 71 years and during that time she supported her husband Paul in their family practice in Coopersburg, PA. They moved to Indiana, PA for a career change and a few years later landed in Elizabethtown, PA. She enjoyed her retirement years at the beach in Avalon, NJ and Long Neck, DE while enjoying the Arizona winters in Apache Junction. She spent most of her last 5 years full time at Renaissance Independent Living in Sun Lakes, AZ. She was very active in her church and also her volunteer work at local hospitals. While raising her family, she was very active with the Boy Scouts and Brownies and was a lifetime active member of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution).

Joyce will be fondly remembered by her family, friends and coworkers for her love of conversation and cooking as well as her sharp wit.
