So sorry to hear about Joy. I remember her coming to our family get-to-gather at Muriel’s in Fairmont,WV. She was a very sweet lady.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. Your mother was a very special friend of my mother, Joyce Richards. She and I stayed in touch after my mama passed in 2017. I also remember spending time with her doing ceramics. Sometimes it was mama, Joy and myself and other times it was just me and Joy. She was always very kind. Charlie and Mark and I went to school together. We were all friends. You are in my prayers! Bless you all.

You will be missed thoughts go out to Charlie and Mark and their families your mom was one of the best.. I loved hearing her stories about her and mom I know she really missed mom.. I’m sure they are having a good time catching up..

Joyce was a second mom to me when we lived by them and always there for me when we moved away. God has gained a beautiful person. I know she and mom are celebrating!

Dear Charlie and Mark and family: This is not the news I wanted to wake up to today, but I hadn’t talked to Joy in a while, so it doesn’t surprise me. She and my mother were first cousins, and even though she grew up far away, she was well loved by her St Louis family. I don’t think any of us can make the funeral this weekend, but we are with you in our hearts. Much love to you all.

Am so sorry to hear this news. She was a very kind person. She always had a beautiful smile on her face that made you feel welcome. She genuinely cared about my family and we were also friends on Facebook. She loved her grandchildren, and she will be missed. May God bless all her family.
