Juan Jose Dorame, known to many as “Tripas”, was born on February 10, 1964, and unexpectedly passed away on October 12th , 2025, in the comfort of his home.
Juan’s roots begin in Ripley, where he grew up in a small home, as one of ten siblings…And the most handsome (if you asked him). Although being the mischievous sibling, he learned at an early age the importance of sharing, resilience, and looking out for one another. His life was humble and rich in laughter, shaping him into the man he would become. Juan was dedicated to hard, honest work, spending many years in agriculture before transitioning to a career in truck driving. Regardless of the job, Juan was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and deep respect for a job well done.
Aside from his work life, he enjoyed the little things in life. Whether it was cruising in his 1961 Ford Falcon, quick visits to check in on family, or just spending time in the kitchen preparing his favorite food, soup. Juan was a man known for his crazy sense of humor, charismatic personality, and overall genuineness that left a lasting impact on everyone he met. Above all, he was the best Dad and Tata. Juan will always be remembered for being a beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Juan is survived by his daughters Vanessa Flemming (Michael), Yesenia Dorame (Robert) and Andrea Dorame (Victor); Grandchildren Dryden, Issak, Aaliyah, Aliyana and Jacob; Siblings Ricardo Dorame, Maria Concepcion Cervantes (Rodolfo), Dora Castro (Arnulfo), Luis Dorame, Rita Ramos (Juan), Alejandro Dorame, Isaias Dorame and Francisco Dorame (Elizabeth); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maria and Carlos Dorame, brother Carlos Dorame, and nephew Heriberto Torres.
Services will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Frye Chapel in Blythe, California from 10am-12pm with a Celebration of Life to follow at the VFW Post 2987.
