Juanita J. Balton, Ed.D.A Legacy of Wisdom, Grace, and Purpose

With profound love and immeasurable sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Dr. Juanita J. Balton, who transitioned peacefully from this life into eternal rest. A devoted educator, visionary leader, and pillar of faith, Dr. Balton’s life was a living testimony of excellence, integrity, and service.

Born with a purpose and an indomitable spirit, Dr. Balton dedicated her life to the pursuit of knowledge and the empowerment of others. As an esteemed scholar and educator, she nurtured minds and inspired hearts across generations. Her passion for learning was matched only by her compassion for people.

Dr. Balton carried many titles throughout her life—Doctor, Teacher, Mentor, Sister, Friend—but her most cherished roles were that of loving daughter, guiding matriarch, and unwavering woman of faith. With every step, she walked in grace, pouring wisdom and love into all who were blessed to know her.

Her legacy is not only written in books or degrees but etched in the lives she touched. Through her tireless advocacy for education, equity, and dignity, Dr. Balton leaves behind a trail of light that will never fade.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find peace in knowing that her soul now rests with the Creator she so faithfully served. Her life was a song of purpose, her memory a balm of comfort, and her impact a gift that will endure for generations.

We celebrate her life, honor her work, and carry forward her legacy with pride and reverence.

“Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:21
