Juanita's Obituary
Juanita Randall Poynter, age 89, of Somerset, KY, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, KY. She attended Mt. Pleasant Church and she enjoyed gardening and spending time with family. Juanita was born on July 19, 1936 at Somerset, KY, the daughter of Jay Randall and Clara Chaney Randall.
Juanita is survived by a son, Dewey Dennis Poynter, Dahl Community; daughter, Glenda Jean (and Mike) Meece, West Chester, Ohio; five grandchildren, Michelle Troxtel, Hannah Poynter, Jolene Poffenberger (Brian), Michelle Harkabusic and Jack McIntyre; great-grandchildren, Gracie Burton, Jayla Whitehead, Eli Whitehead, Ryder Whitehead, Case Whitehead, Staci Hundley, Austin Suddith, Ami Horn, Natalie Smith, Brad McIntyre, Colton Poffenberger, Parker Harkabusic and Jordan Harkabusic; great-great grandchildren, Carson Hundley, Cameron Hundley, Everlee Horn, Colson Suddith and Hayden Smith; one brother Everett Randall (Shelby) of Somerset; extended family members, friends and neighbors who are saddened by her passing.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Poynter, who preceded her on November 8, 2007; and her siblings, Kathleen Price, Bobby Randall, Floyd Randall, Harold Randall and Mary Jane Cadwalder.
The family has chosen cremation and a memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
