Dear Mary Jo and the rest of the family,
My love and heartfelt sympathy are sent to you during this very difficult time. Juju was a very, very special light to all of our lives. The treasures you carry are memories, precious and sweet. Preston and I were recalling this weekend of how her face as all aglow as she experienced the beauty of Disneyland or when she was handed a new doll or stuffed animal to add to her numerous collection. She had a spot for each one and would let you know...

Juju will be missed and she will never be forgotten. Remembering her wonderful and gentle soul will forever remain in our hearts. May her soul rest in peace.

Juju, may you find heavens gate wide open with Auntie Joannie, Uncle Nathan and the rest of of our family waiting for you with open arms. Have not seen you in a while, but remember our visits. Rest in peace!

Judith's Obituary

OCALA, FL Judith Ann Reasby “A loving tribute to my special sister” Miss Judith Ann “ JuJu” Reasby, 67, of Ocala Florida and formerly of Waterbury passed away on November 21, 2014 at her home. JuJu was born in Waterbury on July 3, 1947, daughter of the late Nathan and Amelia “Joanie” (Lopes) Reasby. JuJu was fortunate to have a loving and strong-minded mother, who refused to consider the doctor’s advice to place her baby, born with Down syndrome, in an institution. Fortunately, God gave her parents the fortitude to provide their special child with an abundance of love and exceptional care which enabled their daughter to blossom. She loved playing with her dolls and stuffed animals. She was always delighted by the attention she received from relatives and friends. JuJu took great deal of pleasure traveling to her favorite destination—Disneyland; visiting the famous amusement park nine times. She also enjoyed vacationing in Las Vegas and spending time with her sister in Apple Valley, CA. JuJu is survived by her loving sister, Mary Joan Reasby of Ocala, FL with whom she lived and numerous relatives. She was predeceased by her brother, Noye J. Reasby.
