Not sure what to say?

Unfortunately Brenda and I are unable to attend Judy's Celebration of Life Service. But we want to extend our deepest heartfelt sympathy ... we want you all to know how much Jim and Judy affected our lives and ministry! I remember going to Carsonville to help in the services that they were pastoring in their early years of ministry. My Dad and Mom drove all over Michigan preaching, with my brothers and I singing!! I still see Jim playing his guitar and leading worship! Their lives have...

One of the best prayer warriors I ever knew. I knew her in our younger years. The winter Ralph and I visited her and Jim in Michigan the snow was so high it come up to our waist but that didn’t stop us from playing and throw snow balls and act like the young kids we were. I will miss your calls and our conversations. I love you so much and maybe in heaven we can play in the snow again.. This isn’t goodbye it’s see you later my dear friend.. Sandy Ward

We love our mom.

Thank you for being a “light” to me sister Judy. Until I see you again, I Love You!

We are so sorry we are unable to come celebrate the life of your dear Mom and our precious Aunt Judy. She touched our lives in many ways. Always remember her beautiful home decorating. God bless you all at this time. Love Steve and Gayle Clark

I am James Solomon's Sister, he loved Jim and Judy Willett. Our parents knew Jim Willett's parents growing up. They are all together enjoying each other in Heaven. Judy was so beautiful and so gifted in so many ways. Priscilla let us know of Judy's homegoing, it was sad to hear for sure. I know she will be missed to many. We send our condolences to her family and friends. Shalom to you during this time.

Oh my, where to even begin? I have so many wonderful memories, but I can’t name them all.
One of them is the time that Sis. Judy directed our youth choir at FGT. That was a lot of fun.
I’ll share just one more, and that is also when I was in the same youth group. Sis. Judy and Sue Krueger chaperoned a youth girl’s get away one weekend. Amidst all the fun, Sis. Judy taught us about relationships and how to have a Godly one. She would surely know!

I will never forget you Mrs. Willett. As a student at Thumb Christian Academy you and your beloved, had a huge impact on my life. I also always enjoyed listening to you sing & share the good news. You were a good and faithful servant. I know your family will miss you immensely, but they each have peace knowing that they will see you again.

Dear Willett family... I'm so very sorry for your loss of your beautiful mother& grandmothers,Judy. My sister Priscilla& the late Jim Solomon, loved your parents,Jim & Judy,as Priscilla spoke of them& let me, her sister, know of Judy's illness & to pray. Obituary

Judith's Obituary

Judith (Judy) Ann Willett, 79, passed from this life into the glorious presence of Jesus on Saturday, January 10, 2026 surrounded by her family.

Judy was born September 4, 1946 in Sandusky, Ohio. Throughout Judy’s childhood she lived in several states as her daddy pastored in Ohio, Missouri, Indiana and Kentucky. While living in Cadillac, MI she met the love of her life, Jim, when he came to minister at her daddy’s church. Judy and Jim were married on February 28, 1965 when Judy was 18. Shortly after getting married, Judy and Jim took a pastorate position in Carsonville, MI. As their family began to grow, they felt God leading them to Bad Axe, MI. Together they pioneered and faithfully pastored the church Faith Gospel Tabernacle, now known as Faithway, for 27 ½ years before becoming full time evangelists for 23 years.

Over the  years, Judy became a sought after speaker for women’s conferences; she hosted a Sunday evening radio program with her daughter, Jamey; served as principal of the Thumb Christian Academy started by Faith Gospel Tabernacle; recorded 3 CD’s and wrote 2 books. She was a wonderful decorator/crafter, enjoyed traveling, loved to sing and preach, was a student of God’s Word, and couldn’t wait to share her latest joke. We all loved hearing her laugh at her own joke before she ever reached the punchline.

Over the last several years, Judy’s greatest pleasure has been to spend time with her children and grandchildren; however, there’s no one on earth that Judy loved more than her sweetheart (boyfriend as she called him), Jim. Upon his home going almost 7 years ago there has been a loneliness and longing to see him again. Although we will miss her GREATLY, we celebrate with her as she is now in the presence of Jesus and reunited with her boyfriend.

Judy is survived by her children, Melissa (Michael) Dodder, Jamey (Mark) Parker, Lynette (Michael) Beeler, Richard (Carol) Willett, Kristen (James Ziegler) Willett, 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Richard Willett.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 2:00 at FaithWay with Pastor Mike Beeler officiating. Visitation will take place on Friday, January 16, at FaithWay from 5-8 PM. Visitation also one hour before service on Saturday January 17,2026.

Memorials in Judy’s name may be offered to FaithWay.

Condolences can be shared with the family at www.macalpinefuneralhome.com
