Wayne, Kim, Madison, and Haley,
I am so sorry to hear of Judy's passing. She was always so beautiful inside and out. I will always be thankful for the years she invested in teaching Torre in Mission Friends. May God give you comfort! Treasure your memories! I'm praying for all of you. Love you all!!

Judy's Obituary

Judy Martin, age 73, of Somerset, KY, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Judy was born on July 26, 1952 in Manchester, KY to the late Logan Roberts and Evelyn Goins Campbell.  She was a member of McKinney Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher, taught Bible School and worked with Mission Friends.  Judy enjoyed crocheting and her dog, “Sissy”.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.   

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Martin, whom she married on November 7, 1969; one daughter, Kim (Madison) Shelley of Eubank; one granddaughter, Haley Shelley (Evan Surber); and two brothers, Phillip Campbell of Somerset and Kenny (Sharon) Roberts of Crab Orchard.

Along with her parents and her stepfather, Eugene Campbell, she was preceded in death by one son, Stephen Wayne Martin.  

Visitation will be on Monday, February 9, 2026 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

Her funeral service will follow on Monday, February 9, 2026 at 1:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Joseph Isaacs officiating.   Burial will be at Mill Springs National Cemetery.  

The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to the Pulaski County Humane Society in memory of Judy Martin.
