I am so honored to have known and worked with Juel. He was a gifted leader. Truly, I have rarely seen someone so able to inspire large groups of previously unmotivated folks to work together on a project. I liked him immensely, and respected him to no end.

God in His infinite wisdom privileged us to know and share Juel's life. He enriched so many people with his wonderful smile and spirit. We are saddened by his passing but Heaven is rejoicing.

His Story...Juel Samuel Everett, Jr, was born on November 11, 1981 to Juel and Robbie Everett in West Palm Beach. He was blessed with 31 years of love to share with his grandfather, Bennie Everett, Sr. and godparents, Bobby and Lula Mae Walker and siblings, Lawanda, Jebahres, Benita, Latasha, Octavious and a multitude of extended and adopted family.Juel received his formal schooling at Pahokee Elementary School and PBC School of the Arts, which later became Dreyfoos School of the Arts where he graduated in the Class of 2000. In his junior year of high school, He enlisted in the National Guard, where he served for 5 years. Juel continued his education by earning an Associates Degree from Palm Beach Community College in December 2003 and a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University in December 2004. Juel would later earn a National Nursing Facility Administrator License from the Department of Aging and Disability Services. From the time he was very young Juel loved to sing and spent many weekends performing with his boom box his favorite songs while traveling with his family friend, Dr. Terrilynn Jenkins-Gillis. While in high school he was blessed to receive training under the tutorage of Mrs. Arlene Sparks. The PBC School of Arts Singing Stars provided him the opportunity to travel/perform in many places around the country including Carnegie Hall and with Country singer Shania Twain. Juel spent his early childhood attending church with his family at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. As a teenager, he would join Harvest AME Church until moving away to Miami. As the Church covenant requires, as soon he moved to another place he united with another church, where he could carry out the spirit and principles of God's Word; worshipping with Church by the Glades in Coral Springs and Antioch Baptist Church, Miami, under the leadership of Pastor Arthur Jackson III. When Juel moved to Dallas, he became a member of The Potters House. After returning home in January, Juel joined Grace Fellowship Worship Center in Belle Glade. On April 30th Juel's earthly mission was completed. What a glorious reunion it must have been as he crossed the Jordan River into life everlasting to see his brother, Juelian Rishard; grandparents, Robbie Maxey and Aucilla Everett, Nellie Wilson, Ida Boldin & George Maxey; and a host of other loving relatives. Memories of Juel will be cherished by his loved ones, Shreeka Waldon, parents, family, friends, classmates and all those he touched while working at Best Buy in West Palm Beach, Boca Raton and Aventura; Miami Park Elementary School and Poinciana Park Elementary School in Miami; Prairie Estates in Frisco, Texas; Creative Solutions in Healthcare/Franklin Nursing Home; Isle at Watercrest in Bryan, Texas; Kindred Hospital Dallas; Spirit Airlines and the School District of Palm Beach County.
