Jule “Judy” DiFurio

I knew Judy from elementary school (when we called her Jule), Jr. High and Wilmington High. I met her beautiful and kind mom when we were little kids. Judy resembled her mother and was just as lovely and good natured. I extend my sincere condolences to Judy’s family. Alberta Cicatelli Whitney WHS’58.

I met Jul a month ago at Rockland Place as she was table mates in the dining room with a client of mine. I only ever attended dinner on Sundays each week but Jul was always a breath of sunshine and a wonderful dinner companion. She always spoke lovingly of her family and shared photos with us of her grandson's wedding. Jul never failed to ask about my children and how my week was at work. The Glynn family is so sorry to hear about Judy's passing. We loved sharing time together as Joey and Xander played baseball together for the Hurricanes. She was a remarkable person who loved her family. May you all find comfort in the many memories you have with her. Our Love to you All.
