Watertown Julia Helen Lalus “Beloved Grandmother & Great Grandmother” Mrs. Julia Helen (Zelinski) Lalus, 104, formerly of 23 Leaf Avenue, Waterbury, passed away peacefully, Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Apple Rehabilitation Center of Watertown. She was the loving wife of the late Adam Lalus, who passed away in 1956. Julia was born on September 6, 1911 in Wilkes Barne, PA, daughter of the late John and Anna (Danis) Zelinski. She was employed at Scovill Manufacturing for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Erika, trips to Foxwoods, planting flowers and vegetables, taking immaculate care of her home, and visiting with her neighbors. She also loved the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She leaves 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; a son-in-law: Philip Frazier and his wife, Ann of Wells, ME and a daughter-in-law: Linda Cardella of Prospect, She was predeceased by a son: Ronald Lalus; two daughters: Marion Zembroski and Dorothy Frazier. Arrangements: Funeral will be held Tuesday, May 3rd, 11:30 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury to St. Leo the Great Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. A calling hour will be held Tuesday, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
