I was sorry to hear of Julian s passing. He was also so kind and caring along with being so smart. You always saw him working whether painting or mowing yards along with caring for his family. He was quiet, but always kind and willing to help others. He will be missed very much.

I taught at PCA in the 1978-79 school year and was lucky enough to have Julian in one of my classes. He was always kind, considerate and respectful. I especially enjoyed watching him play basketball for the Raiders. He was fast as greased lightning, could handle the ball with ease, and could score from anywhere on the court. I was saddened to see that he had passed. My sincere condolences to his family. RIP Julian.

Even as a young teen I remember being so impressed at how Julian mowed so many yards yards and did odd jobs all around Pantego to pay his way. Not just the typical teenage effort to buy a car, but he also paid his way through PCA and still managed to help his family financially. I remember being inspired by that while growing up with him, even more so today.
