Juliana's Obituary

Juliana Salayandia Balderrama, 80, of Sanger, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 16, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico, Juliana entered the world on January 9, 1945, to Nicolas and Josefa (Guzman) Salayandia. After her parents' deaths, she moved to Roswell, New Mexico.

While living in Roswell, Juliana met the love of her life, Bart (Armando) Balderrama. They were united in marriage on April 9, 1977, and shared 48 beautiful years together. Their journey took them to Longview, Texas and eventually to Sanger, where they settled to be near their daughter and grandson. Juliana was a devoted member of Iglesia Fuente de Luz Church in Sanger. She had a servant's heart and her faith in God was her foundation.

She was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bart Balderrama of Sanger; her daughter, Brenda Juliana Balderrama of Sanger; and her cherished grandson, J.R. Cosgrove of Sanger. Juliana is also survived by one sister, Remedios Salayandia Cordero of Mexico; and two brothers, Manuel and Guillermo Salayandia, both of Roswell, New Mexico.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Coker Funeral Home in Sanger. Funeral services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Iglesia Fuente de Luz Church, 1609 Duck Creek Road, Sanger, TX, with her beloved husband Bart Balderrama officiating.
