Julie L. Elliott, 47, of Mesa, AZ, passed away July 5, 2013 in AZ after a sudden illness.She was born May 20, 1966 in Anderson, graduated from Anderson High School in 1984, and lived in Anderson most of her life.She was an event planner with "Two Gals" in Phoenix, AZ, she wrote articles for "Quick Throttle" magazine, ran Renegade Classics in Phoenix, worked as a ticket agent for US Air, and worked as a real estate agent in Anderson.Julie loved to ride her motorcycle and liked to sing and dance.She is survived by her son, Elliott Tyler Williams of Greenwood; daughter, Jasmine N. Elliott-Sowash of Franklin; grandchildren, Maryah Elliott and La'Rayna Elliott, both of Franklin; mother, Barbara (husband, Kent) Robertson of Franklin; step-mother, Pam Elliott of Anderson; brother, Jerry (wife, Honey) Elliott of Franklin; sister, Laura (husband, Pat) McDonald of Franklin; step-sisters, Janet Cordero of Jupiter, FL and Angela (husband, Clark) Eorman of Columbus; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Elliott; grandparents, James and Helen Humphrey; grandmother, Fern Robertson; and nephew Corey Pennington.Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home, officiated by James Humphrey and Pat McDonald. Burial will be at East Maplewood Cemetery.Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
