Im sorry to hear of your fathers passing, I’ll always remember your Dads perfectly landscaped yard and flowers and going through his compost box for worms to take fishing. Praying for you guys and family

JJ was truly a good soul. I'm sure he will be missed. My thoughts are with Marla and his Family

Had a lot of good times hunting, fishing especially coon with Elbrige and his dad Darrell. Had just moved back to Henderson been gone 30 years was really wanting to see my old friend. Miss you my friend know you are with family now.

Very sorry to hear that Darrell has passed. Darrell,
Robert (Tuna) Turner and I were very close when we were young teenagers. Had a lot of fun at Atkinson pool soaking the lifeguards while doing cannonballs. Fly high Brother.

JULIUS's Obituary

            Julius Darrell “JJ” Nunn, Jr., 67, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

            JJ was a much loved and appreciated father, son, and brother.  For more than 30 years, he worked at Gibbs Die Casting.  JJ enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.  He took special pride in his flower garden.  JJ was a kind and loving soul and will be dearly missed.

            He was preceded in death by his father, Julius Darrell Nunn, Sr.

            Survivors include two sons, Eric Nunn of Henderson, Kentucky, and Garrett Nunn of Smith Grove, Kentucky; his mother, Lavina White Walker of Frankfort, Kentucky; one sister, Angela Walker Wilkins of Frankfort, Kentucky; two brothers, John Nunn of Robards, Kentucky, and Patrick Walker of Frankfort, Kentucky; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and his companion of 23 years, Marla Book of Henderson, Kentucky.

            There will be a private family service.

            There will be no visitation.

            Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
