June was a one of a kind person. She was kind to everyone. June had a big heart. June loved you no matter who you was. I will miss her so much. I will remember spending so much time with her at the coffee shop. Playing cards. Her laugh. She will be in all of our hearts forever.

This was for June's birth day. We did this on June 30th, 2023.

June was such a lovely person. She had a smile and kind word for everyone. Condolences to her family. Thoughts and prayers

I will miss my visits with her. I loved the time we spent together over the last several years. My husband and I were just saying that we will always remember her laugh most of all.

June's Obituary

June J. Ruggiero, 82, of Bangor, PA, passed away peacefully at her residence on October 13, 2025.

Born on June 29, 1943, in Plainfield Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late Milford G. and Carmella (Capobianco) Johnson. June was the beloved wife of the late Stephen Ruggiero Jr., who passed away in 2010.

June was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Roseto, PA. She began her career in the garment industry. Later, she became a homemaker and learned to be a great cook from her husband, Steve. She was also an excellent baker, especially during the holidays. She loved collecting recipes, cookbooks, and magnets from everywhere. June enjoyed listening to country music, watching musicals, and shopping. She had a deep love for animals and cherished her family—especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her two daughters, Stephanie P. Ruggiero and Angela C. (Ruggiero) Shim, wife of Steven; her son, Stephen Ruggiero III; her sister, Betty Keller; and her adored grandchildren, Isabella, Emily, and Francesca.

A prayer service prior to Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, October 18th, at Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 314 S. First St., Bangor, PA. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel New Catholic Cemetery in Roseto, PA.

Flowers are welcome, or memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 560 N. 6th St., Roseto, PA 18013.
