Kadara R. Mason transitioned this life on October 13, 2023. She was born in Suffolk, Virginia, on May 22, 1989. She was the daughter of Kashtieo Elizabeth Mason and Kevin Lamar Lewis. She was very outgoing, full of personality, and loved spending time with her family and friends. She attended John F. Kennedy Middle School and Kings Fork High School. Kadara, who was well known as “Nin” or “Ninja,” spent many years of her life fighting a fight that even when she was down no one knew because she was so strong. Kadara fought many obstacles, challenges, and was a Lupus warrior. In most instances, she was broken temporarily but picked up the pieces, rebuilt, and came back stronger than ever. She was very affectionate and spent plenty of time conversing with those she loved. From Suffolk to Holland, which was her favorite, she made plenty of memories. Playing card games and listening to Pokie Bear as she maneuvered through the city made her even happier than ever even on her bad days. Nin loved to eat, and Momma K. Sunday meals were always her favorite. Her smiles and energy would light up the room whenever she was approached by anyone. She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her son, Kadaron Lee Jones; sisters, Quanisha Mason, Kashawanda Baker (Chris), Keyunca Mason, K’la Lewis Rodriquez, and Verniqwa Deloatch; one brother, Kevino Lewis; one godmother, Venitta Fergerson; one grandmother, Elizabeth Morgan (Kater); grandparents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Edna (Kelly) Lewis and Frederick Skeeter; four aunts, Tonya Dildy (Phillip), Angela Whitfield (Norman), Lisa Eason (Deon), and Kim Chisolm (Kenneth); five uncles, William Skeeter (Vickey), Darold Skeeter, Ryan Kenneth Lewis (Cheryl), Kelly Lewis (Johnna), and the late Kolley Lewis; and an additional host of cousins, nieces, friends, and nephew
