Kaiden Maurice Simpson

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Kaiden Maurice Simpson. Born on February 6, 2013 this vibrant spirit left us far too soon on March 16, 2026.

He is survived by his parents Nathan and Allison. He also leaves behinds sisters, Madisyn and Halie. Brother Curtis and brother-in-law Brandeon. Grandparents Thomas, Susan and Diane. Nieces and Nephews Cayleigh, Sillas, Wyatt. Adalyn and Lainey. Aunts and Uncles Angela and Mike, Thomas and Trey, Sean, Steven and Crystal. Plus, many cousins and other family.

Kaiden attended Burkburnett Middle School where he had a passion for football and playing the trombone. He also had a great love of fishing and baseball. He aspired to be a welder one day.

His curly hair and infectious smile were loved by many. Kaiden’s wit and charm coupled with his kind heart define his legacy.  The donation of his organs show that he continues to touch lives. Even with his passing.  

Kaiden leaves behind an immense void, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. 

A Celebration of life will be held in Kaiden’s honor on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Owens & Brumley funeral home in Burkburnett with Pastor Chad Stubblefield, officiating. We invite all that knew Kaiden to share stories, laughter and tears, embracing the love he left behind.
