Not sure what to say?

Sorry for your lost. I haven't seen ary in a while. I remember her wonderful cooking at the Burger Shack. RIP Kary.

My Beautiful Best friend. I will Cherish the memories until I can see you again. I can't imagine not being to pick up the phone and having our long talks together. I love and miss you more than words can say.

Kary's Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Kary Elaine Saunders announces her passing on August 20, 2025, at the age of 67 years, after a brief battle with cancer. She passed peacefully with her husband and family by her side at her home in Woodlake, Texas.

Kary was born on October 23, 1957, and grew up in Manvel, Texas. She moved to Colorado for some of her teenage years, and then returned to Texas, where she eventually settled in Woodlake, Texas.

Kary was a strong, tough, and determined woman. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she truly cherished every moment with them. Kary will be remembered as an incredible caretaker for many and a cook for many more. She loved animals and especially treasured her horses, dogs, and birds. She enjoyed gardening and taking in the scents of her beautiful flowers.

Kary is survived by her husband, John Richard Saunders, Sr.; her children, John Richard Saunders, Jr. and Jamie Lynn Saunders (Michael Jasinski); her grandchildren, Kaitlynn Weiner (Alex), Kamie Jasinski, Ty Saunders, Jace Jasinski, Austin Saunders, and Autumn Jasinski; her mother, Betty Frost; her siblings, James Collier (Judy), Debbie Wilson (Dudley Ellis), and Tellus Michael Collier; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Kary is preceded in death by her father, James Mitchell Collier, and grandmother, Betty Edens.
