Katherine D. Slama

My Mom Alice McKinney worked with Mrs Slama at JC Penny's in the 1960's at Lake Success shopping center in New Hyde Park NY. Ironically my Mom past away peacefully October 6 2025 the day after her 99th Birthday. Always have fond memories of them working together. May they both RIP.

Oh my goodness Miss Kay may you rest in peace . I grew up at Hands my mom worked with you and you were so good to me teaching me how to organize and fill cards on the Hallmark side . Spent many afternoons w you after school. Thank you . Love n hugs Laurie Oliver Tubbs .

I will miss your smile, laugh and and most of all speaking to you. You were and are the most thoughtful soul. RIP

Doreen and I felt so blessed to have Kay contact us after our mom Dorla, her childhood friend, passed in 2021. Truly a lifelong and beyond friendship. Prayers ascending. RIP
