Dear Chuck and family,
We met Kathy early in our early careers as Food Service Directors. We become friends out side of work and had many adventures together with other members of our group . Chuck always called us the Cackling Hens. Kathy had unbelievable knowledge of life and work.

I was fortunate to work with Kathy for several years at Swartz Creek Schools. Kathy was a positive influence on the bus drivers and cooks that she supervised. She cared deeply for the students who rode the buses and for those who benefited from the food program. She did every aspect of her job with integrity and excellence. To Chuck and family, I had the privilege of spending a lot of time with Kathy, and she was truly a great leader. Her commitment to keeping children safe through school transportation and helping provide meals to students will always be remembered as part of her lasting legacy. Her effort contributed to higher achievement in the classroom. Thank you, Kathy for your mentorship and your life long commitment to education.

I met kathy at the ROCK Church in Fenton...She was so kind when I had knee surgery..to drive me to my therapy sessions...she was such an encouragement to me...

Kathy and I were not only friends but coworkers at Swartz Creek Schools. Kathy always had a wonderful sense of humor and we always enjoyed a laugh. Kathy took great pride in everything she did, and will be dearly missed.

I was glad I got to see her one last time before God walked her home. She was one tough old gal. She fought the good fight as long as she could. My deepest sympathies to her entire family. God bless you all. Rest easy my dear friend, your work here is done..

Kathie was a good worker, but always had time for a pleasant little talk when I'd see her in the school hallway. Always a positive attitude.
