Not sure what to say?

My condolences to Kathy's family. Kathy and I worked together at Rockford University and she was a mentor to me in my roles as director of Community-Based Learning and of the Jane Addams Center at RU. She was always there to support and to give guidance. We traveled together to conferences at U of Iowa and Loyola, and she made many trips out to Rockford after IL Campus Compact moved into Chicago. She has left an incredible legacy through her work in civic responsibility and community...

May God hold Kathy in his holy eternal embrace! She was a wonderful person. We knew Kathy thru our friends Jim and Mary McShane.

She was a remarkable woman who became a mentor to me during my Illinois Campus Compact and AmeriCorps Vista days 2013-2016. There are no words that can describe her in the English language. I will miss her very much and she had a hand of making me into the woman I am today. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

Jim & I are blessed to have known and cherish Kathy as the best friend anyone could have. Her spirit lives on in our memories. She was compassionate, wise, enjoyed laughter, and our shared life adventures. I will dearly miss my best friend.

I am so sorry to hear of Kathy's death . She was a special person and will be greatly missed!
