Kathy was a wonderful, generous and kind neighbor. She always had a kind and uplifting thing to say. She (and Betty) always bought pies from my daughter to support the middle school band. I was always certain that she bought more than she needed or even wanted. I will miss her bright spirit.

Kathy had a great laugh and positive energy since we were together in grade school. She will be so missed and remembered as a true fighter and advocate for her health. She just kept going and we were lucky enough to know her on her path.

Kathy was fierce! Fierce in her fight for the patients she worked with on a daily basis and fierce in her fight against cancer. She was a beautiful soul, hysterical, humble, faithful and so much fun. She was first in line at our Sundae's on Friday's events at work! She was always someone that could be relied on, a steady presence for all of us. What a joy to know and adore Kathy! Kathy was a kind, sincere, supportive, and precious friend to me. She was serious and attentive when the situation called for it, but equally funny whenever the opportunity arose. I loved her laugh. We would laugh until we cried. She took to her cancer fight like a true warrior - I frankly do not understand how she did it. She fought with grace and humility and never called attention to herself.
