Not sure what to say?

Katie,
It’s hard to find the words, sweet girl. My heart has been so heavy this week. As I’ve read the many messages from those who knew and loved you, it’s been incredibly moving, but not at all surprising, to see how everyone remembers you the same way: as a bright, shining light.

No matter what kind of day it was — whether good, bad, or somewhere in between — you brought unwavering positivity, strength, and kindness. You lifted others up, simply by being yourself.

Katie- While our path didn’t cross as much as I wish they had, but your light was impossible to miss. You carried this radiant, friendly light that effortlessly shared with everyone around you.

Thank you for the light you brought into this world and class 2518. It is a gift to witness and it is a gift I will remember. You will be remembered so fondly by all of us who had the privilege of sharing the time at training with you. The skies here will feel different without you, but I...

Katie.. You were so naturally a light in this world and I can’t believe that you are gone. The amount of courage and determination that you showed us was truly inspirational in all dimensions. I truly loved you like you were a little sister to me and I can’t believe we won’t get to see each other again. I hope you know how proud I am of you. I hope you get to pin my wings someday when we meet again

Rest easy, Katie. It was an honor to get to know you and to be inspired by you every day throughout training. You were such a light and you brought so much joy and kindness to tough days. I am so incredibly grateful to have met you when I did— I truly cannot imagine going through that training without you. It breaks my heart to think I won’t get to hear your laugh or see your smile again. Your perseverance and truly loving nature will always stay with me. Thank you for being unapologetically...

Katie, your exuberance and love for life were unmatched. May we all carry a piece of that spirit forward. Your joy touched our lives deeply and will never be forgotten. 2518

Loveliest hotel neighbor, sweetest most generous soul, Katie I admired you so much for how you never had a bad word, always had a heart overflowing with so much to share. I am so happy to know you. I promise to try my best in memory of you, to live and love the best I can, try every day to be as kind and joyful as you were, to stay curious and earnest just like you; although nothing can ever make up for all the more that you deserved. I’m learning that world is truly beautiful when seen from...

Katie- you will always be remembered for your fun and witty comments you made in training. You will be severely missed
UA-2518

Katie you will be missed. I will never forget your beautiful smile and contagious laugh. I met you the first time at our UA interview and I remember thinking how cool and sweet you were. During training you kept me entertained with your questions and antics. I’m grateful for the short time I got to spend with you. You were the comeback kid and you never gave up! You will be missed. Forever a part of 2518. You will be in my heart and remembered. RIP sweet girl! I will never forget you and...

Katie you were a bright star and made your mark on the world literally everywhere you went. You melted my heart with your kindness through Pollo and I will never forget you. You taught me an unforgettable message about people and how short this life is. Rest peacefully my dear and I’ll see you on the other side ♥
