Kathryn Ann Holcomb Brown born June 27, 1938 in Union community, Anderson County to Porter Hubbard Holcomb and Laura Mae Nugent Holcomb, passed away October 16, 2025 at home after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Brown graduated from Athens High School in 1956. She retired after 20 years at J C Penney. She was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son Kenneth Wayne Brown. Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband of 69 years Harold Brown, daughter Linda Darlene Brown Spaith, son Gary Brown and wife Sonya Brown, sisters Carol Strickland and Linda Wollard, daughter-in-law Tammi Brown, grandchildren Brad Spaith (Katie), Randall Brown (Autumn), Jeremy Brown (Chelsea), Gabby Brown, Great grandchildren Abigail, Addison, Anderson, and Coby Spaith; Tanner, Tucker, Charlotte, Kaylee, and Amelia Brown; Wyatt, Hagen, and Lilly Preston and numerous nephews and nieces.
A very special thank you to her caregivers Mary and Ashley from Heart to Heart Hospice and special caregiver Katie Dubose.
Visitation will be at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
