I am so sorry to read of my Aunt Joan's passing. I have such a small family and Aunt Joan tried to make it bigger. Please let me know when her memorial service will be in the spring so I can see my Rowe cousins. My sympathy to her family.

I have not known Joan for very long, but every time we met she greeted me with a warm smile and a big embrace. During the time we spent together I did notice a little spring in her step and gleam in her eye if the Detroit Tigers we going to be playing that day.

Thank you for allowing me to take care of you. I love how much you adored my children when I would bring them in to see you and how much you loved the Detroit Tiger ball I got you. You were so thankful and excited. Thank you for all the knitted items you made me, I will forever keep them close. You will forever be in my heart and I’ll always remember you telling me, “you’ll be a great nurse”. Thank you for the memories.
