Kathy Ann Harmon It is with great sadness we announce that Kathy A. Harmon, 65, of North Troy passed away unexpectedly on March 7, 2026 surrounded by her loving husband Lawrence (Larry, Skip) Harmon II, children and grandchildren by her side.Kathy was born on December 7, 1960 to her mom, Marjorie Jewett, who she loved talking on the phone with daily and father, who both have predeceased her. She grew up with a large family of 11 siblings. Her sister Marsha and husband Scott Byers, as well as sister Beth Little, both have spent a lot of time with her in their adult years making memories. Kathy’s pride and joy was making memories with her husband Skip, her children and her grandchildren, who she helped raise and babysit. She loved being his Wife, a Mom and Grandmother, and was the best at all of them. She would go out of her way to make sure everyone always knew they were loved and fed. Her homemade goodies, mashed potato doughnuts, and homemade dinners couldn’t be beat. They were the best all year around. Her smile and her big heart are remembered by everyone who came in contact with her, and one of the things her family remembers the most. She was 65 but still a kid at heart who loved to play checkers, watch movies and the Heartland series over and over with her family. She spent years loving every moment of being a grandmother, a mom, and helping raise her grandkids. She was there for everything she could be. She would play hide and seek with her grandkids for hours and ride scooters in the yard. She loved cookouts and bonfires. When winter arrived, her love for Christmas would last for months. The Hallmark Channel was always playing in the background as she shared the true meaning of the season, bringing joy and creating special memories for everyone around her. From decorating the entire house to baking snacks and cookies, she filled the table with treats so there was always something ready when the kids and grandkids came by. Creating those warm, welcoming moments for her family was one of the things she loved most. Kathy loved flowers and was an amazing gardener. Her yard was always filled with the best flowers and feeding the birds made her smile daily. From bonfires, to yellow beans in the garden, and making new flower beds you would find her outside loving the summer months everyday. Home was her happy place.The strength she carried everyday regardless of what she was going through was so admirable. Her heart and love no matter what can’t be matched and is something this world needs more of. The legacy of strength in a women and giving love to everyone even when you don’t receive it back was something she did everyday and taught everyone who knew her how to live this way. She was the rock of the family and during hard times and good times, she held us all together and always made us laugh.Her happiest moments in life didn’t just include her children and grandchildren, but her husband Skip, who she married on August 5, 2017. The love they had for each other every day is something you don’t find. They were soulmates and he made her the happiest she had ever been in life. The love they had for each other is something you don’t see often enough and everyone who ever saw it saw something magical. From a bread tye ring that started it all, to a key to his heart, they had the best love and that was all they needed. Skip is left heartbroken that his baby doll is no longer here, but he will love her every day until he meets her again. Her kids are so thankful to have him as a father and grandfather in their lives. Kathy spent many years working as a housekeeper at Union House and in retail, but her favorite job was to be a stay-at-home wife, mom and grandma. She got to really enjoy that, even more with full retirement. Her love of candy crush and funny Facebook posts she came across made her family laugh daily over the years until the very end. Kathy is survived by her husband Lawrence Harmon II, as well as her son Roland Coderre, his wife Fawn Coderre and their 3 children, Tonya Coderre and her 2 children, and her 3 grandchildren that she helped raise for years as her own - Dillon Coderre, Christopher Coderre and Katie Coderre and her partner Camden Amyot; her step children Brittney Harmon, partner Thomas Washburn and their 3 children, Kassandra Harmon, partner Steven Murphy and their 2 children, and Brandyn Harmon, his wife Desiree and their daughter. Kathy will be missed by so many. The pride and love she had for her family everyday can’t be matched. This world is changed forever without her here and the memories she left behind will be cherished forever. There will be a private ceremony with closest family for a moment to honor her per her wishes with a small celebration of her life at home with family and friends to follow.
