Kathy Mae Jarvis, 73, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away August 24, 2025, ather home following a brave battle against cancer.She was born April 28, 1952, in Coffee County, Alabama, to Robert Smith andThelma Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents and six brothers:Grady Smith, Loui C. Smith, Roy Smith, Charles Smith, Billy Ray Smith, andDonald Smith.Survivors include her husband: Robert Milton Jarvis; sister: Bonnie Faye Gray;children: Tammy (Sam) Mannino, Kristina Sharpe, Sean Sharpe, Katherine(Shelly) Wright, Robert Trevor Jarvis, Kelly Harris, and Kristin Cantrell; fourteengrandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.A memorial service for Kathy will take place Saturday, August 30, 11:00 am, atStephenson-Nelson Funeral Home of Avon Park, with visitation from 10:00 amuntil the beginning of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family is grateful fordonations to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation at komen.org.
