I would like to extend my most sincere thoughts to the family of Kathy Rhodes. God bless you and your family as you go through this sad occasion. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I lived two houses from the Hillers and grew up with the family.
May you always remember your Mom, grandmother, sister or aunt for the great person that she was. Carry her in your heart ❤ and she will be with you in spirit.

Kathy Lee Rhodes-Stewart, daughter of Lee Fred Hiller and Lillie Mae Hiller was born on March 10th, 1955, in Chicago, IL. Kathy was a graduate of Roosevelt High School, class of 1973. She attended Defiance College and received a master's degree. Kathy loved kids and was a devout teacher, working in the Gary Community Schools for over 38 years.

Kathy departed her life on October 28th, 2025, her loved ones by her side. She leaves to mourn: 7 living brothers and sisters-Earsie Williams, Janet Hiller, Sandra (Larry) Dillion, Annette (Paul) Wheaton, Fred Hiller, Ronnie (Andriel) Hiller, and Tony (Lynn) Hiller. Her caring ways will be missed by her 3 sons Justin (Andreki) Rhodes, Jason (Victoria) Rhodes, Marcus Rhodes, and special friend: Russell Newlin.

She will surely be missed by her 14 grandkids, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
