Kathy Lynn Schroeder, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, October 22, 2025. She was born on August 17, 1960, in Woodstock, Illinois, to Henry Leroy and Marion Minna (Klaus) Schroeder.
Kathy was a dedicated and accomplished professional, serving as Director of Accounts Receivable at Walmart for 42 years. She took great pride in her work and was admired for her leadership, diligence, and commitment to excellence.
Outside of her career, Kathy lived a full and joyful life. She loved gardening, yard work, gambling, arts and crafts, and had a special fondness for horses and cats. Holidays were her favorite time of year. She especially enjoyed baking, cooking, decorating, and celebrating with those she loved. She was also a fan of music, home theater, and could often be found watching the Discovery Channel, TLC, or the Food Network.
Kathy’s faith was an important part of her life. She was a devoted member of Grace Chapel United Methodist Church in Rogers, where she shared her love of God and her community. She was baptized on August 6, 1961.
She adored her cats Spud, Tater, and Tot who brought her endless comfort and joy.
Kathy is survived by her mother, Marion Minna Schroeder; brother, Mike Schroeder; nephew, Matt Schroeder and his wife, Tiffany; and their son, Zayden. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Chapel United Methodist Church in Rogers, Arkansas, with Pastor Lisa Schroeder officiating.
The service will be live streamed through Grace Chapel UMC Rogers AR Facebook page.
Memorial contributions may be made to an organization of your choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cremations Only LLC.
