Enjoyed working with Kathye while she was at Pringle-Morse School. She would make some awesome Carmel popcorn for us! Kathye had such a beautiful voice! She had suffered so many health issues, I am thankful she is no longer suffering and has joined the Lord’s heavenly choir! Kathye Rene’ Archer ,69, of Spearman passed away in Amarillo, on Thursday, July 10,2025. Visitation will be on Monday, July 14,2025, 5:00-9:00p.m. and Tuesday, July 15,2025 9:00a.m.-9:00p.m. with a family visitation 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman. A Graveside service will be on Wednesday, July 16, 10:00a.m. at Hansford Cemetery followed by a Memorial service at 11:00a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Spearman with Rev. Byron Potter officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.
Kathye was born on February 20,1956 in Larned, Kansas, to Gayle “Dude” Brown and Mary Porter Brown. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Spearman. She loved singing in the church choir and music. Kathye taught at Pringle Morse school for several years. She enjoyed watching crime shows. She loved her Lord and Savior.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bruce Brown.
Kathye is survived by her son, Heath Archer of Forney, TX., daughter, Brea and husband Doug Jesko of Amarillo, three grandsons, Smith, Bishop, Noble, brother, Jim Brown of Amarillo, sisters, Ruth Taylor of Brekenridge, TX. and Bette Bailey of Searcy, Ark.
Family suggests memorials be to the First Baptist Church in Spearman, 123 S Bernice St. Spearman, Texas.79081.
