My friendship with Kay started in 6th grade. She was always a kind and thoughtful person, but with an adventurous and sometimes mischievous streak. High school Pep Squad and a small glass of homemade wine at Deb’s grandparents house after sitting on the cold metal bleachers all afternoon.
