Kay's Obituary

Kay Leah Wilcoxson, 91, of Blanchard, died Saturday, March 21, 2026, at her home.  The daughter of Deward Alexander Cagle and Ada Mae (Crockett) Cagle, she was born September 10, 1934, in Loveland, Oklahoma.

Kay married Donald Lynn Wilcoxson on December 5, 1953, in Chattanooga, Oklahoma.  She worked as an administrative assistant at Tinker Air Force Base from 1958 to 1995 and retired after 37 years of service.  Kay was a longtime member of the Blanchard Methodist Church, where she participated in various Bible study groups.  In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, keeping up with current news and events, and cooking.  She enjoyed reading magazines and clipping new recipes to try out in the kitchen.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Darrell Wilcoxson; one granddaughter, Stephanie Kay Wilcoxson; her brother, Wayne D. Cagle; and cousins, Ben and Mary Ann Hartsell.

Kay is survived by her husband of 72 years, Don Wilcoxson of Blanchard; one son, Keith Wilcoxson and Lowell Wilson of Oklahoma City; a sister-in-law, Sharron Cagle Nelson; nieces and nephews, Mark Cagle, Patricia Jones and husband, Chris, Shauna Timms, Lynndell Patton, Wendell Roberts, Lorie Walters, Michael Borden; great nieces and great nephews, Harley Cagle, Cody Jones, Clint Jones, Randy Timms, April Timms, Chris Patton, Stacy Patton, Katherine Roberts, Jay Boyd, Kacie Morris, LeeAnn McKenzie, Chaz Borden, and Skyla Quintero; several other nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 27, 2026, at the Blanchard Methodist Church.  Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.  Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
