Mark, my heart has been heavy since hearing this and I am so sorry! When I subbed at Fouke High School, I had you both in class quite a few times. Kayla was a dear person and I want you to know that I've been praying for you and all the family!

Kayla's Obituary

     Kayla Michelle McGuire Morton, age 24, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Saturday, December 15, 2018, in a local hospital from injuries received in an auto accident.

     Kayla was born August 2, 1994, in Fouke, Arkansas. She was the owner and operator of GiGi’s Day Care. She was preceded in death by her father, William McGuire, and a brother, Steven Tyler McGuire.

     Survivors include her husband, Mark Morton of Texarkana, Arkansas, her parents, Shonda and Edward Williams of Doddridge, Arkansas, four brothers, Brandon (Amanda) McGuire of Texarkana, Dillon Jones of Fouke, Dustin McGuire of Baton Rouge, LA, and Jake (Denise) Williams of Arizona, two sisters, Katie Jones of Fouke, and Tiffany Williams of Texarkana, her mother-in-law, Lori Morton (John Pardue), of Texarkana, her father-in-law, Leslie Morton of Texarkana, her brother-in-law, Michael (Teri) Morton of Copperas Cove, TX, her grandmother, Patsy Clover of Tyler, Texas, her grandfather-in-law, Dale Wilson of Texarkana, her aunt, Heather (Rob) Godwin of Ashdown, nieces and nephews, Alexis, Brailey, Bryant, William, Chloe, Jack, and Tessa, and a host of other relatives and friends.

     Memorial services will be at 3:00 P. M. Friday at Faith Chapel, 5311 Poole Road, Texarkana, Arkansas, with Rev. Lavon Piker officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
