Kayla was my and Kyle’s little sister. My heart is broken for her and her family. We love you Kayla.

She was my cousin. I didn’t know her too well unfortunately due to distance and such but my heart hurts for her and her family. Rest in peace, Kayla.

We knew she was having bypass surgery but didn't hear anything more

Obituary

Kayla's Obituary

Kayla Renee Nowlin, age 33, passed away Sunday, March 15th, 2026 at her home in Piedmont. She was born in Poplar Bluff, MO on February 11, 1993, a daughter of Kevin Nowlin and Raegena (Pippins) Nowlin.

A long time resident of Piedmont, Kayla attended the Faith Family Worship Center in Piedmont.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Kevin and Raegena Nowlin, her brother, David Nowlin and her step son, Riley Middleton.

Survivors include her fiance, Joshua Middleton, of the home, her sister, Heather Alcorn, of Piedmont, her nephews, Ryker Nowlin, Kylan Evans; Damian Nowlin, Ayden Nowlin and their mother Jess, her nieces, Abigail and Hannah James; her aunt, Sherril Davis, and her cousin, Kristi Davis.

In addition, she is survived by her God Family, Wayne and Lynn Street, Kathy Hinklin, Marcus Owens, Taylor Jones, Lori Wadlow and Tammy Thurman, along with many other family and friends.

A Memorial service was held at 12:00 PM Saturday at the Faith Family Worship Center near Piedmont with Rev. Wayne Street officiating.
