You want to know my story, well here it is. I am Keesha Elaine Triplett, born April 15th, 1978, in Kansas City Missouri, or as my daddy would call me, Chocolate Drop. I was educated in Hickman Mills School District and attended Ruskin High School. I worked for many years at UPS and then later at Quest Diagnostics until my passing.
My greatest blessing came on November 21st, 2006, when my son Langston Edward Triplett was born. What a joy it was to be his mother. Our bond was unbreakable.
I was a woman of many talents. You name it, I could do it or at least YouTube it and execute it! I was an entrepreneur starting my own business JENE SAISQUOI from custom post-it notes, blankets t-shirts, and cups. I could customize anything and add my flare to it. I loved making videos of my new creations. Even in my downtime, I loved cooking.
Now let’s talk about my greens, banana pudding, and heath cake, they were, hands down, the best in the family. No one could compare or come close to! But y’all know my favorite thing was CHEESE! I couldn’t get enough of it. It had to go on everything or at least have EXTRA.
Family is everything to me and I am truly a daddy’s girl. Whatever I wanted, I got. I loved hanging out with family and friends. We always had a great time and played our favorite games UNO, Left, Right, and Center. Even got my favorite Aunt Jo in on the action! Hanging out with my best friend Kelly, we traveled and attended concerts, Royals games, and BBQs. If I wasn’t with family, I was at home. I am truly a Homebody I loved my movies and TV shows or scrolling on TikTok to watch videos.
Later in life, I found my birth family. Which extended my sibling count from ONE too MANY, but my world was complete meeting both sides of my family. Even though y’all brought great joy, it also was a headache. But y’all know I love each of you.
I am preceded in death by both my fathers, Cozeene Triplett, Jr., and Larry Cunningham, Sr.; uncles, Larry (six) Britt and Tilford Hawkins; and a host of family members.
I leave to cherish my memories my beloved son, Langston E. Triplett; my mama, Shirley C. Triplett-Perry; sisters, Crystal Triplett-Barnes, Inez Nicholson, Latis Hobby, and LaRya Sanders; brothers, my big brother, Marklo Baker, Sr., Larry Cunningham, Jr., Kevin Madge, Raymone Cunningham, Sr., Keilon Madge, Sr., and Ladell Barnes; special aunt, Johan Erquhart; uncles, Delroy Hawkins (Anne), Stan Hawkins, Sr., James Hawkins, and Bewey (Chip) Britt; nieces, Christine ‘Nikki’ Triplett-Jones and Brittany Markworth; nephews, Christian L. Barnes and Gregory ‘Puggy’ Jones; great nephew, Ayden Ganaway; best friend, Kelly Anderson; birth mother, Susan Foster; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
For now, it’s see you later but never good-bye. Love You all Keesha.
