Keith's Obituary

Keith “Skank” Dewayne McNeal was born July 17, 1981, in Osceola, Arkansas to the late Sammie Lee and Barbara McNeal-Heggins. Keith worked as a forklift driver and welder for FMH Conveyors in Jonesboro, where he was known for always arriving early for shifts and volunteering to work overtime whenever needed. His dedication and reliability made him a valued member of the team. Outside of work, he cherished time with his children and family, especially during gatherings where his passion for cooking truly shone. Keith was famous for grilling ribs and preparing delicious meals that brought everyone together.  He also found joy in spending time tinkering with taking on small mechanical projects. His love for fixing things and his commitment to family created lasting memories that will always be treasured. He was the most respectful, soft-spoken, caring and loving person you could ever meet. Lending a hand whenever they needed it, and he never missed a family gathering, his presence was a constant source of warmth and laughter. One thing about him: he loved his father, family and kids deeply. Though gentle and soft-spoken, he was also a force to be reckoned with-the person we all knew and loved.

On September 06, 2025, he passed away at his home in Jonesboro, Arkansas, at the age of 44. He is preceded in death by his father, Sammie McNeal, his maternal grandparents, Annie Lee and Issac Lee Branch and his paternal grandparents, Viola Brown and Leon McNeal.

He leaves to forever cherish two sons, Dallas McNeal of Osceola, Arkansas and Jayden Diaz of Jonesboro, Arkansas, two daughters, Kerranci McNeal of Osceola, Arkansas and Raylee Hill of Jonesboro, Arkansas, his mother Barbara Heggins of Kansas City, Missouri, two brothers, Lavern “Ron” (Taminko-Close Friend) McNeal of Blytheville, Arkansas and Antonio McNeal of Arlington, Texas, three sisters, Lakeisha (Anthony) White of Blytheville, Arkansas, Sade (Jarell) Gatlin of Kansas City, Missouri and Angela Dority of East Lansing, Michigan, a special friend Rosa Diaz of Jonesboro, Arkansas and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.
