Kellie- I promise to keep the magic of Christmas going as long as I live. We have so many incredible memories together! I may drive Ted and AJ crazy because I plan on being the third wheel again. I know you will send us signs that you are with us. After all, you already sent angel kisses with the first snowfall of the season. Until we meet again my angel! Chrissy

This is painful. You had a perfect relationship and a bond that anyone could see. You and your family will be in my thoughts. Be strong and keep faith.

We will miss Kellie, she was so kind, thoughtful, caring and helpful as her role with the League and as a person.
We pray for peace for all who will be missing her especially her family.

Kellie (Dines) Jurick, aged 55, of Munster, IN passed away peacefully with her son by her side on November 15, 2024. Kellie was known for her kind, caring, and fun-loving nature.
Kellie grew up in Calumet City, IL before meeting the love of her life, Ted, at the young age of fifteen. They married in 1992 and became the proud parent of their son, Alexander, known as AJ to all. Kellie’s career was always in the field of credit unions. The motto of credit unions is “people helping people”, which is what Kellie lived for. She worked for 37 years at Heights Auto Workers Credit Union. In February 2022, she transitioned into a role as Regional Director with the Illinois Credit Union League where she was able to further her passion and share it with others all over Illinois.
She found joy in traveling, especially to the family lake house at Klinger Lake, MI and the famous Walt Disney World in Florida. Kellie also cherished the time spent at the family condo in Naples, Florida. Her hobbies, aside from traveling with Ted and AJ, included reading, crafting with her sisters, family time, and celebrating every holiday with enthusiasm. Spending quality time with her great nephews, Koleson and Kilian, brought joy to her life.
To know Kellie was to love her. She leaves behind her loving partner of 40 years and husband of 32 years, Ted, and son, AJ. She will also be deeply missed by her siblings: Candi Cress, Mark (Patti) Dines, Chris Dines (John Norlock); mother-in-law, Marianne Jurick; brother-in-law, Steve (Nancy) Jurick; sisters-in-law: Theresa Jurick, DJ (Spero) Plessas, and Evie (Tony) Druger); numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Dorothy Dines; and father-in-law, Ted Jurick.
A Celebration of Kellie’s Life will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN 46375. Casual attire is encouraged – no need for formal wear. Kellie believed in showing up as you are, and this day will be about celebrating her life in the way she would have wanted; with stories, smiles, and a sense of togetherness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Illinois Credit Union foundation: https://www.paypal.com/us/fundraiser/charity/1699730 or to: Be the Match at https://www.nmdp.org/get-involved/give . Kellie was always a giver. She donated her stem cells to save the life of her sister, Chris, and, upon death, she was able to donate her eyes to give the gift of sight to a stranger. This reflects her lifelong commitment to helping others. Kellie’s warm spirit and generous heart will be fondly remembered and sorely missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
