Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear about Kelly's passing. I met him when Dale worked for me. He did the paint and body work on my Triumph as well as Painting a Street Sweeper we had sold to Salt Lake City. May God bless. RIP

Kelly's Obituary

Kelly Brent Freestone (b. June 20, 1953) left his earthly body of 71 years in the early dawn hours of April 30th, 2025, while at his home in West Jordan, Utah.

Kelly is welcomed to the next life by parents Jack and Betty Freestone, and his older siblings Linda (Ron, d.), Dale (Jeanie), Rick, and Sherry (Ralph).

Kelly leaves his love and strength with his wife of 51 years Denise (m. February 01, 1974). He leaves his love and guidance to son Brent, daughter-in-law Felicity, his many nieces and nephews and to countless people he met along the way.

Kelly was a man of many talents and beloved qualities. He could look at any object with mechanical parts and tell you how it worked, how to fix it, and what repairs had already been made, most commonly with model trains, the house and cars. He was an avid rockhound and especially loved looking for interesting rocks with his brother Dale and then turning them into jewelry or decorations. Kelly passed along a lot of practical knowledge, happiness, comfort, and distraction to his family and friends when they needed it the most. Proof of this is found in his many stories that he would tell his son, his nieces and nephews, and any others who needed it/would listen.

Family and friends welcome to attend a small graveside service Friday May 16, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the West Jordan Cemetery 7925 S 1300 W, West Jordan, UT 84088. A Celebration of Life for Kelly will be held on his 72nd birthday, Friday June 20, 2025.
